I received the earrings last week and absolutely love them! As always dealing with 1791 has been a smooth effortless experience and the communication and constant updates with the status of the order were second to none! I am particularly appreciative of you asking if it was safe to talk when you were contacting me via phone regarding my enquiries. Awesome touch! My better half's birthday is not until June so I cannot yet report on her reaction however given how much she loves the engagement ring purchased from you I am sure she will be over the moon. Right from my first enquiry, the 1791 team impressed me with their care for detail and willingness to go to extra effort to provide quality service. I am living overseas but wanted a New Zealand made engagement ring for my Fiance. Ardouin from Customer Services organised the shipping and tackled the challenging French customs systems to get the ring safely across to the other side of the world. When it arrived it was perfectly crafted and beautifully designed. I needed to resize the ring and again Ardouin organised everything for the ring to be resized in Europe by a trusted jeweller. Throughout the entire process comunication was fantastic, even across so many timezones, and I felt completely at ease that the ring was safe. My fiance loves the ring and we will be in touch again soon to choose our wedding bands from 1791.

The diamond is a fabulous round brilliant, selected for its remarkable fire and brilliance and held proudly in place in a classic six claw setting.

The claw or prong setting allows the diamond to sit high off the finger showing it off to its best advantage without covering too much of the stone and obstructing the magnificent sparkle. In the Alice design the rose gold inlay in the claws emphasises that they are not simply there to support the diamond, but are an elegant design feature themselves.

The same is true of the beautiful ring band with its high rounded shank and tapered band which rises up to meet the diamond in a wonderfully fluid motion.
