Buying from 1791Diamonds online was very easy and straight-forward. It made organising an engagement ring at the last minute (as my original jeweler fell through) while doing a fly in fly out a possibility. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. They did everything possible to get me my engagement ring on time. Once I had received the ring it was a happy response. 1791 were only too happy to receive the ring back through the post for a re-size. This was a process that was suprisingly quick and it was sent straight back to me. All in all, 1791 were a delight to deal with and went out of their way to make an already very exciting time just that little bit easier.

We are now officially engaged !My partner absolutely adored the ring, it was exactly what she was after and how she had imagined it would look. Sizing was perfect also....! La Lucia is a bold, modern design which makes effective use of the strong lines of the princess cut diamond in a bar setting. This is a solitaire diamond engagement ring yet it does not try to replicate the demure and delicate look of more traditional solitaires.

La Lucia design is well balanced and the bar setting, while certainly a prominent feature of the ring's design, complements the fabulous diamond without detracting from its beauty.

The edginess of this design then flows through to the ring's band.

The intention with this design seems to be for the three elements: the diamond, the setting and the metal band, to work together, enhancing one another rather than emphasising any one design aspect. That this design should work so effectively is testament to the high quality of the materials used as well as the quality of workmanship.
