From the first moment I saw their website I was confident that they could do exactly what I wanted, even though I didn't know quite what that was at the time. Alice took time to understand the look and feel of what I wanted and quickly came up with concepts that were beautifully tailored to suit. Discussing my chosen design with her later, I couldn't even find any changes I wanted to make. After some much needed help on getting the right diamond and ring size (thanks Ardouin), my design was crafted into the perfect ring. The team at 1791 even disguised the packaging to ensure it remained a surprise right until the last moment. And of course she said yes!

I couldn't wait to get home to see - it and was even more beautiful than the pictures. Even the packaging was gorgeous, I really felt like I was opening something precious and special.

The ring itself is beautiful, so elegant and sophisticated and the way the diamond catches the light is just breathtaking. The girls at work are dying to see it.
