I had something specific in mind for my wife to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary, and 1791 couldn't have made it easier. I told Designer Alice roughly what I was after and within a day I had a beautiful rendered image of the ring design sitting on my desktop that you could have sworn was a photo of the real thing. So from idea to reality in about 48 hours, not bad! We were easily able to make a couple of small design tweaks, and the result was stunning. Right through the process from design to the paperwork afterwards was a pleasure and I would highly recommend 1791 to anyone looking for value for money and an outstanding result. I know my wife loved it :)

Emerald cut diamonds are very distinctive with their long, elegant lines. These are step-cut diamonds meaning that they have many large open facets, which act like mirrors and throw dramatic prisms of light. However, these large open facets do highlight the clarity of the diamond so it’s important to choose a good quality stone. 

1791 Diamonds adhere to strict policies with regard to diamond quality meaning that they only use the very top quality grades for diamond cut and colour and in terms of diamond clarity they always use SI or better to ensure that no blemishes can easily be seen without a magnifying glass or jeweller’s loupe. The emerald cut diamond used in their Brilliante diamond engagement ring will therefore be absolutely beautiful.
